This Pricing & Refund Policy outlines the rental charges, security deposit requirements, cancellation and exit conditions, and refund timelines applicable to riders using electric vehicle rental services provided by ECO EV (ECO SETU PRIVATE LIMITED).
1. Rental Pricing
ECO EV offers electric vehicle rentals on a daily and weekly basis.
Daily Rental: ₹150 to ₹210 per day, depending on the vehicle type and rental plan selected.
Weekly Rental: ₹1,050 to ₹1,470 per week, depending on the vehicle type and rental plan selected.
Rental charges are required to be paid in advance to continue using the vehicle.
2. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of ₹2,500 is applicable to all riders, subject to the terms of this policy.
Riders may initially pay ₹1,000 toward the security deposit.
The remaining amount may be supported, adjusted, or otherwise handled by ECO EV in accordance with its internal policies.
The security deposit may be waived for riders referred through a company with which ECO EV has an existing agreement.
3. Minimum Working Period for Security Deposit Refund
To qualify for a refund of the security deposit, the rider must have actively worked with ECO EV for a minimum period of 90 days.
Riders who exit or discontinue their engagement before completing 90 days will not be eligible for a security deposit refund, subject to applicable company policies.
4. Exit & Cancellation Policy
Riders who wish to discontinue their rental or exit from the company must provide ECO EV with at least 7 days’ advance notice.
The exit process is subject to:
Return of the vehicle in accordance with the applicable terms.
Verification of required documents.
Settlement and clearance of all outstanding dues.
Completion of any other applicable exit formalities.
5. Refund Timeline (TAT)
For an eligible cancellation or approved security deposit refund, the applicable refund amount will be credited to the original payment method, wherever technically possible.
Refunds will generally be processed within 7 working days after completion of all required checks, verification, and exit formalities.
6. Deductions
Before processing any eligible refund, ECO EV may deduct applicable amounts relating to:
Outstanding rental charges
Vehicle damage or repair costs
Applicable penalties
Unpaid dues
Violations of the applicable rental or company policies
The balance amount, if any, will be refunded after such deductions.
